THE VALVE BEHIND THE FITTING

Since 1961, VA-Albertoni has made angle valves and technical fittings in Gozzano — the heart of Italy’s sanitary-fittings district.

Six decades in a district built on precision

VA-Albertoni was founded in 1961 in Gozzano, one of the most important production areas for technical fittings and hygienic-sanitary installations in Italy. Across three generations the family company has answered a broad range of demands with angle valves, under-basin taps and technical fittings — and it was Albertoni that first created under-sink taps with an integral filter. It remains a well-known name in Italy and worldwide, still rooted in the manufacturing tradition of its region.

Engineered against the things that wear valves out

Albertoni’s quality rests on control of the small details that determine a valve’s working life. Careful control of the roughness of the headwork seat improves the smoothness of movement and eliminates the micro-abrasions that damage the O-ring; watertight greasing extends that life further still. The signature angle valve pairs chrome-plated solid brass with an accessible stainless-steel sediment filter that protects the ceramic-disc cartridge, while the brass spindle limits calcium build-up for a better flow rate over the long term.

Certified quality in the parts that matter most

A concealed valve is only noticed when it fails, which is why Albertoni’s manufacturing standard matters. The company has held ISO 9001 certification since 2012, complies with the REACH Regulation, and carries international certifications across numerous products, with testing carried out in every department. For a Kuysen specification, that means the components upstream of every tap and cistern are engineered for years of reliable, low-maintenance service — the quiet foundation a fine bathroom is built on.
